When I first saw the headline for this story, I said to myself how in the world did this little girl get kicked out of cheerleading? Here is the story; 6 year old is in cheerleading squad, mom goes to games and is annoyed by the cheers, one cheer in particular.
My Back hurts
My skirts to tight
My booty shakes from left to right.
Mom goes to parents meeting or approaches the coach and states how she feels little girls should not state words like the above mentioned, especially little girls shaking their booty's, it sends the wrong message. Mother being a cheerleader when she was younger gives coach new cheers to replace the old one. The coach/squad determines instead of changing the words to just kick the six year old off the squad. Mother is outraged at this and there is a big meeting with all squad parents and at the meeting the six year old is allowed back on the squad, but the cheer remains the same. Mother determines this is not for her child and six year old is no longer cheerleading. My thoughts, keep in mind that I am a fur mommy; I commend the mom for sticking to her guns, if you don't like the cheers take your child out of the environment. I think most parents would have allowed their child to stay in the squad, but continued to complain about the cheers. Question, do these children even know what those words mean? I agree with the mom that these words could be sending the wrong message, but the wrong message to whom, if these girls don't even understand what they are saying. I agree with the cheerleading squad/coach, just because one person disagrees with a cheer doesn't mean I am going to change the whole routine. If I cater to one parent then I have to cater to all parents. I'm not saying just because she is the coach that automatically means she is right; what I am saying is if you do not agree with the coach, maybe you should go elsewhere.
I had to change the title from shows that I watch and books that I read because I plan to blog about everything that I watch and everything that I read. This blog is about my thoughts concerning the material that I allow to come into my mind and how little or big affect it has on me

Paris Hilton: Lastest Stunt
Paris Hilton and her boyfriend driving a SUV got pulled over by a cop when he smelled marijuana coming out of her vehicle. While Paris and company were pulled over tourist began to crowd them and Paris asked could she go inside a hotel to use the bathroom. Paris asked one of the officers for her purse so she could put some lip balm on, as he handed her the purse a little bag containing cocaine fell out. She stated at first it was gum and then it was her friends bag. My thoughts, first if you are going to LIE get your story straight, how many other criminals already stated its not my purse, its not my bag and got BUSTED. Secondly, if it is your purse and you don't have a good excuse for carrying around coke besides snorting it, don't say anything at all. If a cop asks you a question you don't have to say anything, you can say I want to speak to a lawyer. Paris Hilton you of all people should have known better. Finally, if this wasn't Paris Hilton there would have been NO SPECIAL TREATMENT. I don't give a flying fruit cake who she is, all suspected criminals should be treated equally in the eyes of the law. A non-celebrity would not be allowed to go into a hotel to get a breather just because he/she were being surrounded by nosey citizens, they have a right to look. I think the cops should be reprimanded as well in this situation, because they don't know how to follow proper procedures. I also think some cops make up rules as a suspect is apprehended based on their appearance, this situation being proof.
